Appointments

You can make an appointment by calling (334) 396-9100 week-days between 7:45 in the morning and 4:00 pm in the evening. Our phone nurses schedule appointments and answer calls regarding clinical questions. Established patients may also schedule their annual exam through our Patient Portal. Please arrive on time for your appointment and we will do our very best to see you on time. All new patients should arrive twenty minutes early to complete in processing.

Most appointments must be made in advance, but we can often accommodate same day work-ins for sudden illnesses if you call early. We will make every effort to work-in patients when injury or illness warrants it.

Through our Patient Portal, patients are given courtesy e-mail and phone call reminders and we ask all our patients to provide a full day notice if unable to make a scheduled appointment.

A $50 fee will be charged for any missed appointment and up to $50 for any appointment changed or canceled within 24 hours of the visit. These fees are automatically posted to your account. Our staff cannot reverse these fees. Arriving late for an appointment is the same as missing it.

Sometimes there may be a wait due to a patient’s unique needs. We ask that you try to be patient with delays. However, it is as frustrating to us as it is to you when you are forced to wait due to the tardiness of another patient. For that reason, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are late. If you are late for your appointment we will try to accommodate you, but be prepared to have your appointment rescheduled.

At the visit, we ask that family members wait in the lobby during the exam.  If the patient requests it, and after an initial private meeting, the doctor may elect to allow a single family member into the exam room. Exceptions to this should be coordinated in advance. Unless there is a documented clinical need patients only will initially be allowed back.

If your insurance changes between making the appointment and the day of the appointment, we may not be able to see you. Please keep up with insurance changes and know your policy. Call our Insurance & Billing with any questions.

A note on Schedules…

Each doctor's schedule is made up of different types of visits in order to be most effective.  Knowing the real reason for your visit is important to ensure you are booked in for the time you need... a sore throat will not take as long as a diabetic check. Explain your concerns and the questions you have to the nurse when making the appointment.

For after hours emergencies…

We offer our patients 24-hour a day coverage every day for emergencies.  A physician is always on call and can be reached by our after hours number - (877) 313-4860.  Our doctors will do what they can to help you, but we will not refill prescriptions after hours and will refer non-urgent questions to the next business day.
