Happy Spring!

Although one can never be sure when Spring starts in central Alabama, but it is already the middle of March so let’s accept that it has sprung.

I hope everyone had a great winter and Holiday Season.  If the busyness of the season, or the bad weather, kept you away from the doctor, now is the time to come in and get checked out.  We want you to be hearty and healthy for Spring activities and for Summer.

So, if there is still the remnant of that winter cold... come on in.

Please note, we do not accept medicine refill requests from your pharmacy. If you are running out, call us or use the online request. If you are running low on maintenance medications, it likely means you need to schedule a routine appointment.

We must now charge for any missed appointment and will charge up to $100 for any appointment missed without notice, or canceled or changed within 24 hours of the visit. These fees are automatically posted to your account. Our phone nurses cannot reverse these fees. Arriving late for an appointment is the same as missing it.

Fraud Alert

Montgomery Family Medicine is aware that criminals trying to steal personal information may call and identify themselves as a trusted source, such as your doctor.

We occasionally may need to confirm adress or insurance information, but we will NEVER call you to ask about personal information such as your date of birth or social security number. Anytime someone calls you and identifies themselves as being from this office, we encourage you to request proof that you are talking to us by asking the date of your last visit. Or you have the absolute right to call us back. If desired, you may come in in person to discuss personal information. Please be aware and be wise.
